What is superradiance?
In super simplified layman’s terms, superradiance is a quantum optics phenomenon where a bunch of bright things get together and they all make each other brighter. It’s the idea that ten candles in a dark room are brighter than one candle x 10. Don’t you just love this concept? I always have.
SuperRadiant Hours:
With the concept of superradiance in mind, this will be a chance for us to get together and learn from each other’s questions in a group. Anyone with a Squarespace website can come, submit a task, I'll pop into the back end, we'll share screens and make live edits, and everyone gets a chunk of time. This way we can all learn from each other’s tasks and work our collective magic.

How do I sign up?
I’d love to have you! First we’ll be collecting folks with tasks to submit. If there’s still space, you’re welcome to come to watch and learn!

Anyone with a Squarespace website (yes, even just your own — especially just your own!) who’s curious to learn more. Both DIYers and designers with questions are welcome to submit a task. We’ll be focused on the basics so if you’re already a Squarespace pro, you may already know this stuff.

Yes, with a caveat …
There’s no specific presentation aside from your submitted tasks, so we’ll open the calendar to participants with tasks and questions first to make sure we have something to work on, and then if there’s space we’ll open it up to attendees who are welcome to come just to hang out, ask questions, and learn!

DIY Squarespacers or beginner-to-intermediate Squarespace designers! (If you’re an old Squarespace pro you may already know a lot of this stuff.)
Since we’re working within a limited time frame we’ll be working mostly within the native Squarespace platform and editor, so we won’t be tackling complex code solutions in SuperRadiant Hours. If you have a more complicated ask, feel free to reach out.

SuperRadiant Hours is a chance to get to know your way around the Squarespace platform with an expert over your shoulder.
We’ll work mostly on the built-in Squarespace editor (vs. big custom coded solutions) although if we need a quick pop of code we may use that, too.
Last time we learned how to:
(how the heck do you even) log in(?!)
navigate the back end of Squarespace
edit basic content on your pages
build and customize an order form
add gallery items with captions
add a new product to an e-commerce store
add social media links
and all the chit chat and questions that come up along the way
Feel free to submit a task and I’ll let you know if it’s a fit for SuperRadiant Hours or if it’s better suited for a separate project.

This tends to vary, but plan for about 15-20 minutes per task. We’ll try to fit 3-5 requests into our 90 minute meeting.

We can always create a project together to finish your task. SuperRadiant Hours attendees will receive a 20% discount on their first hour of any continued work (regularly $125/hour) or live working session (regularly $185/hour).
