What they needed: implementation on Squarespace from a pre-designed mockup
Sometimes I’ll collaborate with my colleague, Justin Mabee of Arc & Atlas, an east coast-based web design and branding studio I really admire. Justin took all the design work off my plate and came to me with the entire Home page already pre-designed and mocked up. In addition, he’d already done the branding and designed a logo, curated fonts, and chosen colors. My task: make it happen on Squarespace and hand it back over so they could finish the build back at Arc & Atlas.
What we did: a flawless build on Squarespace
The mockup included placeholders for images, a bit of light animation, and a custom clickable tabbed content section to display a different blurb for each tab. My challenge was to make it look like the mockup but work like a kickass, fully functional, mobile responsive website. Challenge accepted.

Customizations
The mockup included a few custom touches that were achievable with some custom code:
Mostly CSS to create evenly spaced faux buttons and gentle hover effects
And the brilliant Will Myers Tabs Pro plugin for the clickable table describing each of the conditions they treat. (*affiliate link but I absolutely love this plugin and I use it #allthetime.)
What kind of assets were prepared for the build?
Along with the mockup, Justin set me up with a folder of the images he wanted me to build in, the logo variations he designed, the brand guide he created for the client with his carefully curated fonts and colors (which differed slightly from the mockup), and the custom font files.
