What they needed:
This one was a wild transformation. The folks at My Accent Coach came to me with a tight budget so they opted for a home page redesign only. They gave very clear instruction not to change any of the copy or structure, just a design audit and revamp. It's safe to say these before and afters are night and day. (Take a peek!)

What we found:
The bones were there, but there was a ton we could do to bring this style up to speed and professionalize the look. All content was static, there wasn’t much visual hierarchy, structure, or differentiation between sections, so it was a lot to take in without any visual breaks. CTAs were lost in the clutter, content wasn’t evenly centered, and there was no margin or spacing convention. They also weren’t happy with the few visual elements that were originally there.
What we did:
A full home page redesign! First I created clear section breaks so each bit of content could live happily in its own area. Then I adjusted the color palette until we arrived at a super clean and consistent look, and I implemented consistent font hierarchy to drastically improve the page’s indexing for SEO. Now for the fun parts: I coded in some depth and movement with particular attention to hover effects to subtly encourage engagement on the calls to action, and we used gentle gradients on section backgrounds and image overlays. Pop in some shimmery header text gradients and a robust, functional footer to ground the whole site and ensure flawless navigation and this site had no idea what hit it! One of the most dramatic website glow-ups in modern history!
