Squarespace Website Demo for a Tokyo-based TV Show Pitching to Investors
What they needed: a TV show concept “pitch site” to share with potential investors
A modern, tech-forward twist on the traditional pitch deck! The filmmakers at Tokyo-based creative production label, Storymaker, were in the funding stage of their venture and needed a compelling concept site to share their idea for a new TV show with potential investors.
What we did: a custom Squarespace website with everything they need to pitch the show
A one-page scrolling demo site that packs a punch. Cinematic scrolling effects, a brief description of the show’s concept, an example of how to display a dynamic teaser to investor materials which are kept behind a confidentiality agreement, and an introduction to the key creators involved in the project.

We wanted to tease the experience of watching TV, so we used:
Auto-playing video clips
Custom video-playing knockout text
Cinematic fixed video backgrounds with layered scrolling text
Custom interactive flip book demo
Digital downloads behind a confidentiality agreement
Dynamic hover effects
And touches of scroll-based movement
For the love of the craft:
I really dug into playing around with this one and had such a fun time just seeing what’s possible on Squarespace. It’s easy to get lost in the pursuit of possibility with a website build like this.
