Jonelle Luther
What she needed:
Jonelle needed a brand new website to showcase and sell her pre-made programs and one-on-one coaching services in the fitness, wellness, and nutrition space. It was important that she would be able to update the site herself, so Squarespace was an easy choice. I originally designed and built a comprehensive one-page site that we later built out into a full website you see today.

What we did:
I started with a one-page landing page that described all Jonelle’s services, allowed for some quick program downloads, and provided a way to get in touch. This gave Jonelle an idea of what we could do and how she might like to customize and refine. In round two, we built out full pages for each category, a full e-commerce store and summary block page for her programs, and easy contact forms throughout. We finished with a Squarespace Email Campaign setup and some custom CSS code to give it some style and animation.

The Process
Jonelle is a brand new mama with an infant consuming her every moment, so she didn’t have tons of time to brainstorm over design choices. To get things going, she snapped a photo of a blanket to give me an idea of the colors she loved, and that’s all we needed to build her color palette.
The Pic
The first draft of Jonelle’s site used her color palette, a couple of placeholder images I’d nabbed off her instagram, and some Unsplash free stock photos built right into Squarespace’s image editor.
Once I threw something at the wall, Jonelle could say “oh, I’d like to use this picture here,” etc. and we made it her own.
She saw where her content was needed, wrote up the details, and we popped it in. Getting your content together doesn’t have to be daunting. In fact, we can build the whole site without it and then add it in at the end.
